A leading company in the property sector with a strong focus on innovation and data driven decision making seeks a highly experienced professional to lead its Business Intelligence and Analytics team.

Job Summary:

  • We are searching for a talented and experienced leader to spearhead our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. You will play a pivotal role in driving organizational growth and development by transforming raw data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making across various departments.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you’ll find yourself equally split between hands-on execution and steering the team with 50% devoted to hands-on tasks and 50% to management and leadership responsibilities’
  • Oversee the construction and maintenance of a central data repository, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and data strategy.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to gather and transform data from various sources into a usable format.
  • Develop and standardize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and integrate them into reporting tools.
  • Design and implement comprehensive reports and dashboards using a leading business intelligence platform (e.g., Power BI) to provide clear and actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced techniques to identify trends, correlations, and critical areas for improvement.
  • Communicate complex data findings effectively to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow and facilitate efficient reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain data governance best practices by documenting data definitions and adhering to established protocols.
  • Leverage advanced data analytics and business intelligence methods to uncover revenue-generating opportunities and cost-saving measures across the organization.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and BI specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development with a specific focus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of leadership experience in business intelligence and analytics.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing comprehensive BI and analytics strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and gain a competitive edge.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying, data manipulation, and analysis.
  • Solid experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, correlations, and insights from large datasets using statistical techniques.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of data analysts and BI specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure ML Studio, and experience in integrating various Microsoft technologies for comprehensive data solutions.
  • Additional consideration for candidates with experience in data science and proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning applications.
